“Twin Peaks” Guided Walk
Robinson’s Rock and Merrit Mountain, date TBD.
While not directly PLT properties, these two peaks, at just over 200 Ft above sea level present some spectacular views of the southern third of the peninsula, and the eastern half of Casco Bay. On really clear days with the correct atmospheric conditions you might even spy Mt. Washington from Robinson’s Rock, a.k.a. ‘the Bumpah’. Join us for a jaunt up one or both of these ‘peaks.’ The hiking is not technical but is a bit steep and ‘rugged’ for small stretches, water and hiking poles are helpful.
Hikers will park at Sebasco, more details forthcoming.

What to Bring to Outdoor Events: We suggest long pants, long sleeves and sturdy shoes with socks. Bring a sweater, rain-gear and hat if weather suggests. Insect repellent and bottled water is recommended for summer walks. Events will still be held in light rain or snow, if we opt to cancel due to weather, we will post that at least two days in advance. Please also remember that Phippsburg Land Trust believes in ‘Carry In – Carry Out’ principles.
